Gentle Wave Technology

The GentleWave Procedure is a state-of-the-art alternative to standard root canal treatment. The ultracleaning technology of the GentleWave Procedure is an advanced combination of fluid dynamics and a broad range of soundwaves that work together to reach into the microscopic spaces1,2 and remove bacteria, debris and tissue.2 The GentleWave Procedure is so effective at cleaning and disinfecting the root canal system, there’s less chance of failure over time. Cone beam computed tomography
Our office is equipped with the latest generation CS 8100 3D CBCT. Our endodontists will utilize a CBCT when deemed appropriate. CBCT imaging is a relatively new technology in the field of dentistry. This imaging creates a 3-D view of teeth that can be examined from all surfaces. This is a great advantage over traditional 2-D dental x rays. This technology utilizes minimal radiation and is equivalent to only a few regular dental x-rays. The images are utilized in special cases where additional information about your tooth is needed. CBCT images in these instances are critical at enhancing diagnosis, treatment planning, and will aid in implementation of therapy. In many instances, it can help avoid unnecessary treatment and can aid in determining why a tooth is not responding to initial treatment.

Surgical Microscopes

Pacific Endodontics has invested in one of the best dental microscopes available. The microscope provides high magnification with an advanced light source to aid in excellent visualization. The enhanced view of the tooth helps us to find anatomy within your tooth that is not visible without superior magnification.

Digital Radiography

Digital x-rays provide many advantages over traditional film x-rays. They provide instant images of exceptional quality that shortens treatment time, provides significantly less radiation, and allows us to transfer images to your dentist much more efficiently. We are also able to enlarge these images so that we can share these images with patients to better explain treatment.

Water System Treatment

For your protection and health we are using advanced water purification cartridges on every dental unit. This purification system has been used in all NASA manned space shuttle flights since 1976. The system meets and exceeds all applicable Federal, state, and American Dental Association standards for dental unit water quality. For more information please click here:
